Writing

I’ve always had an interest in writing, though it wasn’t until I went to university that I began to seriously pursue it. By that time, I’d already self-published Annie, my debut novel, and A Year in the Life, as well as completing the first draft of Revolution, which is unreleased.

I dabble in everything – from screenplays and poetry to short stories, novels and novellas. From music and lyrics to diaries, dictionaries, journalism and the copy for this website. Oh, and at work I focus on statuses, e-shots and press-releases.

At university, I released a trilogy of textbooks based on my studies, as well as a novella called ‘Angels‘. Meanwhile, I honed my skills as a writer and began to work at Virtual Festivals as a music journalist. After three years, I was ready to step out in to the big, wide world, earning a job as a Social Media Expert at a PR company.

Since then, I’ve kept busy writing tweets, statuses and press releases by day, working on my first ever screenplay (‘Come On Up to the House‘) at night. I’m currently working on a project called ‘The Lexicologist’s Handbook‘, a dictionary of weird and wonderful words…

Who knows what’s next?
