It actually happened again last Friday, so I’ve resorted to using a .htaccess file to limit all access to the admin panel to my home computer and work computer. So far, no sign of a further attack – I’ve actually been meaning to update this article to show the most recent hack.

It’s always been pretty easy for me to fix. I wondered if it was perhaps a plug-in that I’d installed that contains a weakness?

I’ve greatly ramped up WordPress security options and have been waiting to see if they would try again. So far, no sign of a new attempt.
